Aoife Mc Namara and Salty Sea Sisters, a female founded online community, who's primary purpose is to connect and support women actively seeking adventures in the outdoors, are teaming up to make Summer 2024 one to remember!

This event has it all: an uplifting morning dynamic meditation, cold water talk, group surf experience, Aoife's Ikagai Workshop, healthy lunch by and warm beverages from Shells Café, an Aoife Mc Namara and Salty Sea Sisters pop-up and more - all in an incredible setting overlooking the incomparable Strandhill Beach in Sligo.

What to expect? 

We’ll start the day with a Salty Sea Sisters Dynamic Movement warm up before starting our surf experience in the glorious Atlantic Ocean guided by our incredible local surf instructors from Rebel Surf. 

Afterwards, we’ll warm up and nourish ourselves with a relaxed and rejuvenating lunch in Shells Café. From lunch, we'll ease into our Salty Sea Sisters guided meditation and herbal tea ceremony to centre ourselves after our morning reconnecting with the ocean.

Aoife will then guide you through a sequence of journaling exercises to reflect on your ‘Ikigai’ a Japanese concept referring to something that gives a person a sense of purpose, a reason for living. This same process has helped Aoife uncover her 'why' which helped her build a sustainable brand with purpose. You’ll then create your vision board, further helping you to visualise and imagine what you want to experience in your life, how you want to feel, what you want to create and what you are calling into your life.

We will close with a tea ceremony in order to bring mind, body and soul into alignment before we enjoy an Aoife Mc Namara x Salty Sea Sisters Pop Up Shop. 

Come with family or friends and make some new ones from the Aoife Mc Namara and Salty Sea Sisters communities. We can’t wait to meet you! 

What you need to bring: 

• Comfortable clothing to warm up in
• Swimwear (we'd advise wearing these under your clothing in morning)
• A full body wetsuit ( If you have one- we will supply if not)
• Your own surfboard ( If you have one - we will supply if not) 
• Towel (for after surfing)
• Water bottle
• Wet shoes/sandals/flip flops (any shoes you can easily slip on and off)
• Warm and comfortable clothes for after surfing

Can I come on my own? Yes! We invite you to join us for a fun filled day in a beautiful outdoor setting with like-minded people. 

Suitability:This event s suitable for all adults aged over 18 years only. We will enter the sea only if conditions permit on the day. 

Cancellation Note: As places are extremely limited, please let us know 48 hours in advance if you can't make it so we can offer your place to another Aoife Mc Namara Community member. Refunds on cancellations less than 48 hours before the event cannot be guaranteed.
